1 May 2011 = 10 … Wheel of Fortune … May day … Beltane
Beltane, May day… a good day to celebrate the Springs fertility dance.
Lay your dreams and wishes on a ribbon and dance them around the
May Pole; An ecstatic ritual for the season arrival.
I have no excuse for this poems draft. I get it and maybe you
will too. If you don’t … well chalk this one up to my babbling.
CARNIVAL HEART
It tingles the edges
of the skin
It calls silence into
ecstatic whispers
That woo the heart
vibration in celestial
chords.
then
Light shifts it’s
eminence
Beams streams
of the carnival
that comes to town
for the season.
That treat the
sensations
of tingled edges
to a playground of
ooo’s and aaaahh’s
never before seen
of felt.
A Big Top of
delight
A circus of pleasure
silences the ecstatic
whispers
Shifts heart woo to
the clowns measure.
The House of Mirrors
provoke the hearts
many distortions.
Holds none to reasons
delight
Delighting in all illusions
faces
Light streams it
beam away
leaves the flattered
heart with the tingled
edges held to the
caged shadow of
Lions and Tigers
and Bears. oh my.
The Mid-Way
promenade secures
the edges pushed by
ecstasy’s woo of the heart
The Path is clear
And then…
You see the Roller Coaster

You’ve captured the carnival. Some of your written words are being chopped off in your longer lines. Thought you should be aware.

thanks so much… I don’t know why that happens cause it does not appear that way in my preview or on my screen.

I copied them with no problem. Strange. See where fertility dance is, it cuts off there. Same thing at where it says around.. So maybe you should limit your lines to those length of characters.. ???
