Can you believe I heated up yesterday’s morning coffee, stuck an ice cube in it, (made it too hot) and am now sipping away at it? It’s not like there isn’t fresh coffee to be had. It’s that I looked to the pot this a.m. and saw that there was a lot of coffee left from yesterday. I simply could Not throw it out. So wasteful. Occasionally this happens. Do you do that? oh BTW.. it tastes just swell and I’m going to heat up the rest of it any minute now.

How does the Sun feed your life?
When is too much not enough?
Can you stand in the center of your life without drama?
~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ ***
The crunch of sand beneath your feet
the crunch of a potato chip
the crunch of a crowd at a party
the crunch of crisp celery
Some crunches feel good
Some crunches taste good
The crunch of money debt
the crunch of world crisis
the crunch of broken glass
the crunch of homelessness
Some crunches rip you apart
Some crunches suffocate your soul
The Crunch is on us all
if you let it wad you up too tight
it will squeeze you to death
Find spaciousness in your mind
Find spaciousness in your heart
Find spaciousness in your actions
Find spaciousness for others
Give to life space
for in the crunch of these times
it will be you that gives peace a chance
it will be you that gives ease to trouble
it will be you that gives kindness
It will be you that reflects
the grace of life everlasting
crunched a nerve in my neck while traveling… glad to be home, able to offer it spaciousness and rest!
