How do regain your Sunny disposition when the day is all grey and cranky?

What tools do use in your emotional bag of trick to shift from feeling bottomed out to movin’ up?

What does it feel like to ‘stand’ in the center of yourself?

TGIF in our hemisphere.  Tho’ I have to say, every day is a TG day.  For you writer out there, is anyone doing NanNoWriMo?  For those that have never heard of it,  National Novel Writers Month.  Write 50,000 words in 30 days.   go check them out.  It’s a crazy thing.  I’ve completed it twice. yep I did.  no poetry went down during this event, tho’ I intend to continue writing here everyday till madness takes my brain and it melts in a sea of abstract words.   Cheer me on, I’ll need it.

Agreement #2  “ Don’t take anything personally;  Nothing others do is because of you.  What others say and do is a projection of their own reality their own dream.  When you are immune to the opinions and action of others; you won’t be the victim of needless suffering”  Don Miguel Ruiz

Your open mouth a spew of angry hornets

Your words sting at my flesh

My surface is tiny word torn blisters

I nested there with you in our honey

Hanging from a hive of our making

The buzz of life pollen rich

Some stings call for attention

There is a feel good in the reception

gathering summer’s best flowers

Some stings give of a challenge

The drone of life dulled with the seasons end

And the prick gives warning of boredom

No angry buzz and tearing stings stop the honey

The body is a cast off of a life well lived

Pollen rich and held to the smell of lavender

In the end the queen dies to her honey best

The sting of life finds renewal in the ending

Your words only fault my surface

I leave for the sweetness of me

What an effective and evocative image!!! Bee sting therapies abound. But the bees die. Duality, duality.

  2. Words of wisdom, and insightful poem…
