living in ritual.

There is delight in ritual for me.  A plan, a decision to meet with myself every morning here with you.  I keep it simple:  make coffee, feed the loved one, take a few sippies of the coffee, sit in the same chair laptop on my lap, roll through some email, read a bit of this n’ that, feel and smell the morning air, let the morning take me where she will.  When it’s cool, with no notion of a rise in temperature in the day, I light a candle.  Sooner than later  words start to come.  There is no plan on what to say, only what bubbles up to my surface from what seems to be flowing through me in the moment.  I have ‘guides’ that I invite into the mix occasionally or they arrive unexpectedly into my consciousness.  They are not chatty, or overtly influential, just a presence I feel and see in my minds eye.  They are always welcome.  They are always around.

Olympic opening..

Thus far, there have been 498 days of this happening here for me.  I still wish I could do this with exercise.  Can I hear a LOL?  God, would I be in spectacular shape for an ol’ geezergirl.

Faithful rhythm scores

the days rise to the light

The well goes to the center

Into the heated core

bubbling up to give

It’s not the fire that

holds me above center

Not yet there where

I can settle this point

of light yearning.

In the belief that

I am the fire, I am

the center, I am a

light everlasting

I shimmer in possibility

I shimmer with All

in this awakening

no less equal than

infinite love and grace

Humored by the muse

of light and dark

Teased to the fork in the road

when all Paths will take

me home to you

Faithful is the rhythm

harmonic notes finding

the perfect point of Light

As we all sing together

what calls us to Be.

breathe
