DREAMIN BIG STEPPIN’ SMALL

In honor of my re-taking of my Creativity Coach training, with Jill Badonsky,  I have re-posted a poem I wrote back in the fall of 2011.  I had already down the training and was certified and I was ‘workin’ the program’, so to speak.  And, when I opened my  MacJournal this morning to continue the process of selecting poems for my poetry book I’m going do, I was at the 15 of Nov. 2011 and this was what I ‘free fell’ into that morning.  I changed the title and very likely I will edit it and add to it, and not today.  It is very appropriate to where I’m at with the ‘work’ right now.  Check out Jill’s site.  www.themuseisin.com   She is amazing.

THE MUSE IS IN

THE MUSE IS IN

DREAMIN’ BIG STEPPIN’ SMALL

Small steps get you there

leaps and bounds will too

What’s important is

What will work for you

Sabotage will seek you out

Slice holes in your dream come true

Tells your ego you’re not enough

lays waste to what you do

There is no wrong way to ‘get there’

If intention holds you tight

There is as much time as you need

There are many ways to right

Small steps get you there

leaps and bounds will too

What’s important is

what will work for you

Perfection will claw dreams apart

Shred away your very best

Never enough was more than enough

Perfect fear swallowed your hope chest

It does matter how you serve you desire

It matters who you meet along the way

It matters how integrity holds you

It matters what you do every day

Small steps get you there

Leaps and bounds will too

What’s important is

What will work for you

You are what dreams are made of

You are the dream that was meant to be

It’s all a dream within a dream

Live your dream seem-less-ly
