A Pantoum

I swim in history’s stories

in float with face to the Sun

Visions in clouds of Heaven and Earth

My sea gives way to sadness

In float with face to the Sun

The dive to deep finds my wounds

My sea gives way to sadness

Allowing the moments to come

the dive too deep finds my wounds

The salt washes me clean

Allowing the moments to come

My grief pulls me down

The salt washes me clean

Purifies the closing passage

My grief pulls me down

The journey has a new beginning

Purifies the closing passage

vision in clouds of heaven and earth

My grief pulls me down

I swim history’s stories

  3. thank you… I really love writing Pantoums… they give a surprise in a certain way at the end. I deliberately try not to remember the sequence so I don’t make sure the last four lines are a mystery for me.
