HAVE WE TALKED YET

18 April 2019

The Gilded Tarot

~

Have we talked yet

about the hard conversations

  when your body refuses you

  when loneliness consumes you

  when every which way is no way

  when abandonment keeps you victim

  when you feel not enough or

    maybe too much

  when nothing will Ever be perfect

  when death takes a beloved

  when aging lies to you

  when youth betrays you

  when loves leave you

  when dis-ease eats away at you

  when death stalks you

~

Have we talked yet

 about the way love finds us

   in the sudden heart opening

   in a flirt of an eye

   at the coffee shop

   in remembrance of what was

   in the feeling of what Is

   at that wedding

   in the gentle caress

   in the hard fuck

   at a spiritual retreat

   in an unexpected moment

   in the radiance of another light

  at the corner from your house

~

Have we talked yet

  about our closeness to the Earth

  about the way a walk in a

     a forest clears the busy mind

  about how trees and plants

    desire our communion

  about the dance of the clouds

  about the rain’s heart beats

  about the way the river calls you

  about a murmuration

  about how the fey entities know you

  about moss and leaves and dirt

  about noticing the song of dragonflies

  about the seasons greetings

  about rolling in the leaves

  about swimming naked in the sea

~

Have we talked yet

  about the Infinite Universe

  about the magnificence of Being

  about the Truth of Love

  about sin and evil

  about rage and joy

  about the wonder of breathing

  about feelings and emotions

  about the Holy grail

  about the nothingness and

     the Everything

  about how we care for each other

  about kindness and grace

  about the transparency of honesty

~

Have we talked yet

  Because, I’d like to know you

THERE IS ENOUGH SUN FOR ALL OF US

**

SUN IN VERMILLION

There is enough Sun for EveryONE.

Air is not exclusive to how it shares

Earth has been freely giving for millennia

Your Body is a Sea, a Lake, a pond,

Your blood all flows the same colour as other

And without your heart pumping it

Life ends

~

 There is enough Sun for everyOne

In our differences and sameness

I sit next to you and breathe in you exhale

I stand next you and feel the presence of

you earth body

If you let me hold you close, I feel the

pounding of your heart, your life force

next to mine.

~

There is enough Sun for Everyone

Enough Air for everyOne

Enough Earth to live on and grow on

Enough Water to flow with

~

Only…

~

It requires us to tend to it all

To steward the land

the waters, the air

~

There is enough Sun for everyone

and is that enough?

What IF?

day 6, NaPoWriMo.

following a prompt,

the hokeypokey

WHAT IF?

What IF?

~

If she decided to lay all that discontent down

  fill her Chalice with forgiveness,

  pour it all out and refill

~

If there were enough of us that give up

  on trying too hard to get it all right~

~

If you blessed your water with a million

  gratitudes before you drank it

~

If kindness found you open hearted

   no matter the situation

~

If we said what we mean and do what

   we say

~

If the riveting act of radical honesty

   became the wave of communing

~

If you ever let your heartache lead you

  to the truth of surrender

~

If you could believe in your Divine

   Essence

~

If you could drink the river’s waters

If every breath was a sacred moment

If every moment was a sacred breath

~

if sacred meant a deep honoring of

  your living

~

If you could have the clarity of how

  tenderness heals a soul

~

If the flame in your heart burned for you joy

~

If the dive in to your chalice of forgiveness

  wants to drown you

~

What if…

What if…

You turn to Love no matter what?

What if

You turn to Love

No matter

What if?

Nature Spirits are Seen

Day 5.. NaPoWriMo  New Moon in Aries

A Villanelle.  A french form of poetry that I feel compelled to try.  A first time dive.

The first line I choose to begin this poem is from the Astrological Sabian Symbol for this New Moon.

It spoke to me.  I read it on www.mysticmamma.com.   A worthy site for following the Lunation of the Moon

Nature Spirits are seen in the Light of Sunset

A finger snap out of the shadows dancing

Soften your eyes to the magic to see what you get

~

Quick in our ways of busy we forget

In child like wonder lives this remembrance

Nature Spirits are seen in the Light of Sunset

~

All hail to a heart wide open to be Spirit met

On the horizon in the forest light seen

Soften your eyes to the magic to feel what you get

~

In the meadows and gardens they set

Among the blooms of flower scent

Nature Spirits are seen in the Light of Sunset

`

Oh to be of a child’s mind in no regret

Of  joy and innocence with eyes wide open

Soften Your eyes to the magic to see what You get

~

Surrender, receive with innocent eyes re-set

Take in the Sunrise for recalibrated refresh

Soften your eyes to the magic to see what you get

Nature Spirits are seen in the Light of Sunset

The Willow, The Rapids

PACIFIC NORTHWEST 2 024

Morning…

This poem, which I am about to ‘makeup’ in this moment, is from the prompt given on the NaPoWriMo.net page.

I read a beautiful poem there by Claire Wahmanholm, The Meadow, The River, that inspired this moment of flow.

Let me see what’s going to pour out …

~~~  The Willow, The Rapids ~~~~~
My eyes followed the half of her
that went into the river
Her other half fluttered in the wind
Caught in the droop of willow branches
Holding her in a delicate balance
~
I tried to catch one of her eyes
The one in the tree held to silence
Closed and serene
The one in the rapids
Wild like the water consuming her
~
Should I save her from drowning?
In the wildness of herself?
Should I save her from the whip of the winds
In the fresh calm of herself?
I laid myself perfectly at the tip of that pinpoint
~
I felt into the drown of my wild concerns
Breathing into the serenity of the winds caress
Feeling into the desire of both of those halves
in the surrender of perceive wholeness
Making a break from each other
~
There was a losing to find
There was a split of understand
The hologram of wholeness was breathing water
And each breath took in the rapids.
Swimming in the wind has its answers
~
WORDS
The wind and trees
Stones, and rivers.
A silent path through
woods and meadow green
Snow speaking to your
tongue
~
Words gathered on that breeze,
In the whisper of the river over rock
In the song of the birds
  on the oak and pine
On the snowflakes yearning
~
They gathered in, the
cumulous clouds
On the burst of Spring rain
In the fickle want of
nature’s gathering
~
They  found you,
open and willing
A creature tuned in to
How a fence knows a crow
How leaves know their autumn’
How a coat wears the wind
How a murmur rides a wave
How moss invites nakedness
~
Words found you
In roots and crust of bark
In the swirl of grass caught
with the wind
On the tongue of the butterfly
In the coupling of Sun to Earth
In the face of the shimmering Moon
~
There was no where Mother Nature
   did not hold you as a sacred being
Held in her loving caress
You honored the gifts and rages of
Her giving.
She told you everything
Held back nothing
She cradled you in her arms chanting
And you spoke her wisdom
~
Thank you Mary Oliver.
THRESHOLD, answering the Big question
PATH TO GALAXY
Each step is a new threshold
An invitation, an opportunity
A celebration, a mystic moment
Each step,
Foot in front of foot
Thought followed by another
A sound that welcomes
    the next sound
A feeling that moves to the
    next feeling.
~
There is a space of in-between
sensorial moments
Where you receive
    information.
Where you receive the
Great questions
Where Alchemy mixes
   the improbably with
   the impossible
~
Not audible, not tactile
Not seen, unnoticed
Right there waiting
A nano second
A revelation,
An  awakening
    of absolute knowing
~
Beyond all your alert senses
Beyond your greatest understanding
Beyond what you have been told
Beyond what you thought true.
~
The heart races wildly
The skin tingles and shivers
Vision moves within to the unseen
Energy smells like lightening
Swells to engage the Infinite
And you cross
~
You have stepped over
    the threshold wide Awake
Wisdom of All times fills you
and You know …
Light and Darkness
Love and Fear
     share each other
Need each other to
thrive
One can not be
      without the other.
~
Every moment
Every moment
Every moment
You stand at a threshold
How will You hold the Paradox?
~
