KINDNESS… a pantoum


There is no ponder to an act of kindness

Kindness comes as it will like breathing

It is the only pathway to peace and love

A lay down of all that holds us to fear and resistance

The Bandit, ‘Boo’

All the joy of life races around the room

A white ball of fur in play grabbing

each moment with the newness of living

Drenched in curiosity

 

Lewis and Clark, and the famed Columbus

have no hold on this little explorer

Nose to every fleck of discovery

Tasting it like the ingestion will fill him up

 

Only to have every small thing fingered

out of his mouth before the swallow

It’s all his and he knows it even when it’s not

Stewarding his way to safety in the no matter what

 

The romp fatigues with a sudden flop

Gathering him in for a cuddle of love

Held to the sweetness of his baby’s breath

As it slows to sweet slumped snores

 

I take the responsibility on as a gift

Gratitude fills me up in puppy love

Forever changed by the welcomed journey

He’s a Bandit.  He stole my love

Youth had its way with all my parts

I’ve parted with those days for these

So many moments brought me here

A New Year’s Prayer


 

FREE

FREE

Make this not the End of a year

Rather invite each new day

A moment to raise up and

Sound out a new beginning.

 

These are the days and

You are the ONe.

Not a corner of the Universe

Is without a place to celebrate

 

Cozy your heart around

What gives you joy.

Be renewed in loves call

There are no wasted moments

 

Light knows her darkness

Kindness waits for you to notice her

Peace is in your breath

Love has never left you

 

Make this not the End of the Year

Make this the beginning of a moment

And another moment, and another

filled with the gratitude of love’s ease

 

Make no doubt that you are Loved

Make way for what thrills your soul

Cradling the chaos and fear like

a mother who loves her child

pouring out the love and light

when darkness makes way to threat

and the world collides her grief

in an ocean of extinction

 

Make way for what thrills your soul

when the fabric of life tears at the center

to bleed great loss and betrayal

puddling the sea at your feet

Treading the night looking for stars

in the great beyond that holds your light

waiting for you gather It All

for everything else is passing

and but a flash of yesterday

and not one true glimpse of tomorrow

Now varieties herself in Rainbows and disrupt

A cacophony of moments filtered by rise and fall

She fancy’s herself giving presence to the present

Of what Is in what ever matter matters.

She isn’t sly in that clever sideways way

Playing the fool-you game cause He can

Now is dressed up however you imagine her to be

He’s Halloween personified if that’s how you

breathe her in when you’re lost to yesterday or

tomorrow’s henchmen.

Now has no struggle, no worry living on each breath

Being with how it goes in the Way it is with out agenda

She’s the way to Peace when the sky is falling

She’s the way to and out of what was and is yet to come

Now  belongs to everyone and everything

He’s easy that way and makes no falter in his being

Here for you in the ‘No-matter-what’ cause she IS

Timeless, everything and nothing at all.

Yours for the taking in Her complete giving

With no denial only your fabrication.

NOw is all there is

LOVE ETERNAL


PUPPY DORJE

 

Despaired relief in contradiction.  Impossible has no place to hide as it gains momentum. What must find space in the vast spaciousness when the body comes to closure settles in the imagination.  The gone to a greater far beyond incomprehensible.

To take life before life finds it’s natural conclusion questions what is ‘natural’.  The eyes of the loved oneforever made blank to this life’s seeing.  To ‘be seen’ is one of Spirit’s great gifts to humans, taken away when death seizes the senses.  Inviting the impossible to take over.  To trust the great Infinite to hold some magic to be seen again with out eyes.  In the knowing that Love has nothing to do with this body and everything to do with an awakening of the Soul.

Still, grateful for the wonder that a body, mind, a heart, the senses, share in the living.  In the being seen with eyes of love unconditional.  Now closed and gone from view.  Now gathered in the minds eye, in the heart’s longing, in the trust that a greater wonder gives care to the loved ones highest good.  That the meet again will be insured, because how can it not In the embrace of God, Oneness, Spirit, Source, The Infinite.

 

If there is a wander to find,

than let me wander

the vastness to

find you again.

 

My soul will recognize you,

it loves you for eternity.

ON THE FOURTH DAY OF AUTUMN MYSELF SAID TO ME…

On the fourth day of Autumn myself said to meeeeeee

Feel the nippy chilly

Hear the squirrels a racing

Watch the leafies turning

Breathe the change a comin

Allow it All in and BEeeeee

 

Hope it doesn’t go too fast, Hope it stays awhile

Autumn with her dancing spice

Wears her colours in my favorite style

 

There’s something in the air that’s right

There’s something that flows in my blood

When Autumn finds her days and nights

Her harvest season brings quiet light

Imagine… a haibun

Imagine… anything you like.  There is No limit.  No one to tell you can or can’t or how big or little you can imagine.  Imagine… Anything.  Create it in your minds eye as if it IS.  It’s as real as you imagine it to be. Breathe it in to your mind.  It is your creation, only as limited as you imagine it to be.  GO BIG even if it feels insignificant, even if it feels impossible, even if you feel you aren’t powerful enough, creative enough, good enough… do it anyway.  Pretend.  Imagine.  Give yourself this free moment to imagine…. ANyThinG.

Thoughts are manifested all around you.  Take a look.  Someone thought it and here it is. Creation is happening in ever millisecond, maybe faster.  It’s one Huge Universe and you have the power to be as creative as you believe yourself to be.  AS PowerFUll as you believe yourself to be.  Power that is not over, rather in perfect sync with all of Creation that is happening right now.

See it in your minds eye. Does it have a smell?  Maybe ya wanna taste it.  What does it feel like?  Is it colourful?  It is a thing, an object?  Does it yet exist in the world?  Maybe it’s a thought, a philosophy, a hope, a dream.  Maybe it’s a wish for peace, and end to illness, a new world view.  Sculpt it as you wish it to be.  Give it every glorious, loving passionate thought you have ever imagined.  BELIEVE it to be.  Know it already exists cause your thoughts are powerful.

You are creative tool of the Universe.  IMagine…
