Lay It ALL Down


12 Sept 2019

At first, I thought this a big ol’ rant as it rolled out of me onto paper.

And as I take in what I ‘lay down’ here, I felt all the truths that

came into my heart from letting it all out.  Sitting in the questions

of, “What will I lay down that gets in the way of my joy?  What will

I lay down that holds me ransom to a fear?  What will I lay down that

gives me space to include more joy and love?  What old shit keeps me

from my Sovereignty?

~

Lay it all down

In that this is a time of

the absence of reason

~

If what is unreasonable 

doesn’t move you to lay Down

your used up angry

emotions, thread bare, raw to the bone

in the vast abyss of reason-lessness,

unkindness, and startling

betrayals after betrayals

Then what is?

~

Widen your despair to include

that which gave you this despair

It lives in all hearts

~

Lay down your thought

that negative badgering makes

a difference.

~

Lay down your thoughts

that rages fixes anything

~

Lay down your closed heart

in the wound conjured up by

old war games against your soul

~

Lay down the ‘better than’ and

the righteous decent, the finger

pointing, the bad mouthing.

~

Lay down any wretched thoughts 

that provoke separation that places You

over Here and Them over There.

~

Lay down the thinking that 

your thoughts are Not powerful

because how you think expands

that energy force a thousand fold

~

Lay down the chains that bind 

you to hardness and resentment

~

Lay down what you accuse of others

as You are That too.

There in is the reflection.

There in Lives the Gift.

~

Widen your Joy

Widen your Love

Widen your Gratitude

Widen your heart

   to the inclusivity

   that you are that which you

   think of self and other

~

Take action on behalf of Love

Serve the Highest Good

Rise up to your Sovereignty

~`

She Turns On Her Axis


Full Moon in Pisces.   Friday the 13th.

Good morning…I let this day rise in me with simply sitting here imaging the moon in Her Fullness, and me, being the conduit for whatever words she wishes me to write.  Unedited as she speaks through me.

She turns on her axis

Feet muddied in the long walk

With no destination she feels

the pivot in her breath

in her heart

in the ley lines of her soul

that call her to directions

~

In the upside down

In the inside out

In her all around

~

A digestion of spaciousness

A de-polarization of what human

  make of truths

~

She turns on her axis 

sideways

longways

upside down ways

Looking at the Full Moon

Hanging above

Beckoning

~

She rests in this rotation

Calmed in the circle of

Luminosity

Filled by the voice of

a thousand unheard songs

pulsed to her heart

in the brilliance of

~

How Infinity opens her heart

to the full vastness

of every known and unknown

way Love remembers Herself

Nothing else ever mattered

~

The Moon licks away the mud

on her feet

Kisses her toes in reverence

Gently pushes the fulcrum

of her breath

In the sway of perfect Uni-scense

WORDS

The wind and trees

Stones, and rivers.

A silent path through

woods and meadow green

Snow speaking to your

tongue

~

Words gathered on that breeze,

In the whisper of the river over rock

In the song of the birds

  on the oak and pine

On the snowflakes yearning

~

They gathered in, the

cumulous clouds

On the burst of Spring rain

In the fickle want of

nature’s gathering

~

They  found you,

open and willing

A creature tuned in to

How a fence knows a crow

How leaves know their autumn’

How a coat wears the wind

How a murmur rides a wave

How moss invites nakedness

~

Words found you

In roots and crust of bark

In the swirl of grass caught

with the wind

On the tongue of the butterfly

In the coupling of Sun to Earth

In the face of the shimmering Moon

~

There was no where Mother Nature

   did not hold you as a sacred being

Held in her loving caress

You honored the gifts and rages of

Her giving.

She told you everything

Held back nothing

She cradled you in her arms chanting

And you spoke her wisdom

~

LIFE ON EARTH


The stirring of the world around me in the rising of Spring’s renewal , and  the intense enveloping of the political world, give me a clear view of the duality that I rest in every day.   There is no avoiding either.    Better to settle into the greening and the thunder, then to let the angry righteousness of people fill me with fear and victimization.

Give me Earth’s Wisdoms, however it chooses to unfold.

Take wonder and awe at The Infinite

RETURN TO EARTH’S WISDOM

Return to Earth’s wisdom

Listen to the message she calls you to hear

With heart centered silence, wait

The roots of the trees know your every move

~

Abide gently on this surface

Take no more than what you can return

Be not a cancer that will extinct itself

Let the Spring wash you clean

~

Give prayer for all this abundance

Fill up on the gratitude of Earth’s offerings

Steward the place that you live and breath on

She evolves as you do

~

We are all connected

Not one small seed, or grain of sand

Is without the grace and presence

Of being here sharing this space with you

~

Return to Earth’s wisdom

Breath with the wind

Walk with the roots

Let the rain purify you

Lay in the grass and listen
